Nick Lombardi - One Step Closer

Nick Lombardi is the energetic and dynamic bassist for One Step Closer, a killer new band from Pennsylvania. Nick's bass of choice? The RockBass Corvette Basic 5-string, of course!

One Step Closer came together when guitarist, Steve Lombardi and drummer, Nick Lombardi decided to create a new band with a new sound. While jamming one day with their friend Tyler Kilby, they decided to do something completely different. With Nick switching over to Bass, and Tyler on Drums, a strong bottom end for the band was created. Now in search of a singer, they quickly got in contact with a friend of theirs -- Scott French. While jamming with Scott, they knew right away he was exactly what they were looking for. Scott and Steve's catchy riffs and harmonies made the band unstoppable, and sent them on their way. All are from the Oxford, Pennsylvania area.

One Step Closer has performed at talent shows, battle of bands competitions, numerous event performances from the Chester County Area, a Benefit Concert for the American Cancer Society, and recently The Colin Fitzpatrick Fundraiser with WMMR. A Commentary on Steve Lombardi has also been printed in the “Oxford Tribune Newspaper” regarding the Benefit Concert. One Step Closer has also been featured on 93.7 WSTW’s Hometown Heroes Radio Show. The Band has also been aired on West Chester University’s WCUR 91.7 FM.
